I have lived in Adelaide all of my life and love the balanced lifestyle here where I can run my physio business during the week, and get away to world class wine regions and magnificent surf beaches only an hour away. Adelaide is home to the Tour Down Under and has some of the best cycling roads you can find. I’m a relatively recent convert to cycling, having started riding for fitness in my 40’s, and this slowly has grown into a regular training habit with some racing thrown in for good measure. With my wife Vivien I’ve enjoyed cycling here, interstate and internationally and felt there was an opportunity to create an online review platform for the good things that every cyclist wants and needs in their life. Born and raised in Germany, I’ve lived in Adelaide since 2006. I’m also a more recent convert to cycling but love the community, the freedom that bike riding offers and the ability to keep fit with a non impact and body friendly form of exercise. Over the years I’ve seen many businesses that go all out to cater to cyclists and attract bike riders, and the concept behind Cycling Gourmands is to present these businesses to the wider cycling community.
